U.S. to distribute 500m COVID-19 test kits, mobilize military personnel: official

The Biden administration will distribute 500 million at-home rapid testing kits that Americans can order online for free from January to fight against the Omicron variant, a senior White House official said on Tuesday.
The measures also include activating some 1,000 military medical personnel to support hospitals, according to the official.
