Zimbabwe receives latest vaccine donation from China

Zimbabwe received a batch of Sinovac's COVID-19 vaccine donated by China on Monday, which will boost the country's vaccination campaign as it battles the fourth wave of COVID-19 pandemic. Zimbabwe's Vice President and Health Minister Constantino Chiwenga expressed gratitude for the vaccines, saying the donation will help accelerate Zimbabwe's vaccination campaign. Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe Guo Shaochun reaffirmed China's commitment to assisting African countries in the fight against the pandemic and addressing vaccine inequality.
