European gas prices hit a record high on Tuesday after a pipeline that brings Russian gas to Germany reversed its flow eastward. The Kremlin said the move had no political implications, with Gazprom allegedly meeting their supply obligations. Westbound gas flows through the Yamal-Europe pipeline stopped on Tuesday and reversed direction.
