Russian President Vladimir Putin's customary year-end news conference is scheduled to take place on Thursday. The president will take questions on a wide range of issues from domestic and international media outlets. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no more than 500 people are allowed to attend the face-to-face event, according to Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov. Putin's year-end news conferences began in 2001.
