Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday heard a work report delivered by Ho Iat Seng, chief executive of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), in Beijing.

Addressing Ho Iat Seng, Xi hailed the success of the election of the seventh Legislative Assembly of the Macao SAR, adding that the principle of "patriots governing Macao" was further implemented.
