"China in the Classics," an innovative cultural show produced by CMG, examines stirring stories of some of the most outstanding ancient Chinese classics through seminars, drama and visualization. The show brings the classics "alive," demonstrating Chinese wisdom, ethos and values.

In this episode, contemporary reader Sa Beining takes Chinese philosopher Laozi, who wrote the 5,000-character "Dao De Jing," and Yin Xi, the commander of the Pass, across space and time to see how the classic was circulated in later ages. Supreme good is like water and brings benefits to all things under heaven. The thoughts of "Dao De Jing" from thousands of years ago nurture the Chinese people's spiritual world. It's part of the wisdom and splendid cultural legacy that Chinese culture has given to the world.
