U.S. authorizes Pfizer oral COVID-19 treatment, first for at-home use

U.S. health regulators authorized Pfizer's antiviral pill for COVID-19 treatment Wednesday, making it the first oral and at-home treatment for the disease, providing a new tool to fight the fast-spreading Omicron variant.
