U.S. forces did not conduct COVID-19 tests for personnel ahead of departure to Japan: report

U.S. forces in Japan did not test their personnel for COVID-19 prior to their departure from the U.S., Kyodo reported on Thursday, citing Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno.
The revelation came after a cluster of infections was reported at the U.S. Marine Corps' Camp Hansen in Okinawa Prefecture, with more than 200 coronavirus cases.
