Australia's most populous states, New South Wales and Victoria, have re-introduced COVID-19 curbs as daily infections hit new highs, driven by the Omicron variant. This came just before Christmas. Australian authorities reduced the wait time for booster shots from six months to five. They're now saying the wait time will be shortened again.
