Philippines celebrates Christmas as COVID-19 cases decline

Despite the recent typhoon, it seems the Philippines has something to look forward to this Christmas. With a decline in COVID-19 cases and higher vaccination rates, its economy is slowly recovering. The Philippines' food and drug agency has granted emergency approval to administer the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine to children aged 5 to 11.
