Ten people were injured in the border county of Jiangcheng in southwest China's Yunnan Province after an earthquake jolted northern Laos on Friday, local authorities said on Sunday.

The magnitude-6.0 earthquake struck northern Laos, and the bordering Yunnan Province felt the tremor.

All the injured are being treated properly, according to the authorities.
