China-U.S. relations have struggled from a near breakdown in the Trump administration, to a breakthrough when Chinese President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Joe Biden met virtually last month. But as the year ends, ties have turned hostile once again following U.S. lawmakers' Xinjiang bill. CGTN's Dong Xue recaps China-U.S. ties in 2021.
