St. Vincent's Hospital in Sydney has admitted to mistakenly notifying more than 400 people that they had tested negative when in fact they were positive, according to local media.

The hospital's registered pathology laboratory, SydPath, issued a statement on Sunday saying that, "An emergency response team is now investigating the cause of this mistake, which is believed to be human error."
