China's Shenzhou-13 taikonauts, Zhai Zhigang and Ye Guangfu, have completed their extravehicular activities (EVAs) and returned to the space station core module, Tianhe. The China Manned Space Agency said the pair returned to the core module at 12:55 a.m. on Monday, after about six hours of EVAs. They completed tasks such as lifting a panoramic camera and testing goods transport. Midnight on January 1, 2022, will be the first time Chinese astronauts welcome the New Year from space.
