In the U.S., airlines have called off more than 1,000 flights for a third day in a row amid rising coronavirus cases, forcing tens of thousands of Christmas travelers to change their plans. To make it worse, top U.S. pandemic advisor Anthony Fauci has acknowledged a "testing problem" as Omicron overwhelms the country. Hundreds of people have waited in long lines in New York City's Times Square for testing. CGTN's correspondent Ediz Tiyansan has more.
