The Chinese mainland has reported 182 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases. The National Health Commission says 180 were detected in the northwestern province of Shaanxi, mostly in the provincial capital Xi'an. Zhejiang and Yunnan each reported one local case. Authorities in Xi'an have launched a new round of citywide testing, and ordered residents to stay at home to curb the spread.
