U.S. CDC cuts COVID-19 isolation time to 5 days

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on Monday shortened the isolation time for Americans who have tested positive for COVID-19 from 10 days to five if they don't show symptoms amid the Omicron variant surge.
