Expert: China-U.S. tensions remain but cooperation on climate change will move forward

The year 2021 has seen extreme weather events occurring more frequently around the world. It also saw countries, rich and poor, pulling together at a global conference to find a solution to climate change. China and the U.S. announced a joint declaration to limit methane emissions at COP26, but tensions still remain between the two. CGTN's Nawied Jabarkhyl goes through this year's devastating extreme weather events and Lin Boqiang, dean of the China Institute for Studies in Energy Policy at Xiamen University, shares his opinions on these issues.
