China has published a book on President Xi Jinping's thoughts on respecting and safeguarding human rights. The book features nine themes and includes 335 discourses extracted from over 160 reports, speeches, congratulatory letters, and instructions by President Xi, from November 15, 2012, to October 30, 2021. On Tuesday, a seminar was held in Beijing to discuss the book with human rights experts and representative readers from home and abroad in attendance.
