The Chinese mainland has reported 152 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases driven by the Delta variant. The National Health Commission says 151 infections were detected in Xi'an, the capital of central China's Shaanxi Province, which has been the epicenter of the mainland's latest outbreak. Wang Qilong, vice president of Xi'an International Studies University, told CGTN that following the rules of epidemic prevention and control is everyone's responsibility.
