2021 has been a year of progress and harvest for China and other Asian countries, said Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Thursday. China has strengthened and upgraded its relations with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. The two sides combated COVID-19 unitedly, inked the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership, boosted economic cooperation and managed the South China Sea issue. Asia should choose prosperity with mutual trust and cooperation, not decoupling.
