As the world is turning its eyes to China for the upcoming Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, China is ready to present great Games, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Friday.

Xi made the remarks in his 2022 New Year Address delivered through China Media Group and the Internet on New Year's Eve.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games will open in just over a month.

"We will spare no effort to present a great Games to the world," Xi pledged.
