France has become the world's sixth country to report more than 10 million COVID-19 infections since the start of the pandemic, according to official data published on Saturday.
French health authorities reported more than 200,000 new cases for the fourth day in a row, recording 219,126 in the past 24 hours.
France has joined the United States, India, Brazil, the UK and Russia in surpassing 10 million cases.
