UAE to ban overseas travel for non-vaccinated citizens starting Jan. 10

The United Arab Emirates will ban international travel for non-vaccinated citizens from January 10. Emiratis who are fully vaccinated will also be required to take a booster shot to travel overseas. The ban does not apply to humanitarian cases or those medically exempt from the vaccine. In recent weeks, the UAE has seen a sharp rise in infections. On Saturday, the country reported over 2,500 cases.
