An oath-taking ceremony for the 90 newly-elected lawmakers to the Legislative Council was held in China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Monday. The lawmakers pledged to uphold the Basic Law of the HKSAR and swore allegiance to the HKSAR after singing the national anthem of China. HKSAR's Chief Executive Carrie Lam chaired the ceremony.
