Iraq has held a candlelight vigil at Baghdad airport to honor their deputy leader and a top Iranian general killed in a U.S. drone strike two years ago. The strike on January 3, 2020, killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, a deputy of Iraq's security forces, and Iranian General Qasem Soleimani.
