South Korea on Monday reported two deaths in connection with the Omicron variant, which appear to be the first such deaths in the country, according to Yonhap news agency.
The two deceased patients, both in their 90s, died last Monday and Wednesday, Yonhap stated. Health authorities are still investigating the exact cause of the deaths.
