Charlie James works at Wilco Hardware, which is part of the China National Building Materials Group (CNBM), in Port Vila, the capital of the Republic of Vanuatu. During his nine years with CNBM, James has been promoted from checkout security staff to trade department supervisor. He says that working for a Chinese company has improved his life and helped him become more knowledgeable.
