Hong Kong will expand its "vaccine bubble" from February 24 to include public venues such as gyms, cinemas and libraries, one day after health authorities confirmed that a fifth case of Omicron was detected locally.

People vaccinated with at least one shot are allowed to enter such venues, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Carrie Lam told a weekly press conference on Tuesday.
