The Saudi-led coalition carried out airstrikes on two military camps controlled by the Houthi militia in Yemen's capital Sanaa early on Wednesday morning, the Houthi-run al-Masirah TV reported.

The airstrikes hit the 1st Division camp in the center of the capital and the Dhabwah camp in the southern part of Sanaa, the TV channel said without providing further details.

Meanwhile, residents said that large explosions caused by the airstrikes could be felt across the city.
