International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Thomas Bach has sent New Year greetings to the president of China Media Group (CMG), Shen Haixiong, and the organization, as CMG will broadcast the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 in China.

"It is my understanding that China Media Group plans to send a very strong team of nearly a thousand people to provide the most comprehensive coverage of the Olympic Winter Games in China through your CCTV channels, including the 4K linear Olympic Channel, that will enable the Chinese population to watch and enjoy every minute of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022," Bach wrote in a congratulatory letter.
