Virtual meetings become 'real' on the Winter Olympics 5G Express
For journalists, the most traditional way of reporting is to interview in person. But new technologies have allowed new possibilities. China Media Group and China Railway have jointly developed a 5G studio on a high-speed train that runs between Beijing and Zhangjiakou, the two competition zones of the 2022 Winter Olympics. With stable and fast 4K transmission, reporters covering the Olympics can use the train's facilities to talk to guests in another location. However, to the audience, it'll seem as though they're in the same space. Take a look at how CGTN reporters Zhao Yunfei and Cen Ziyuan meet in the metaverse.
