Japan declares quasi-emergency against COVID-19 in 3 prefectures

Japanese authorities announced on Friday that they decided to take priority measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, imposing a quasi-state of emergency for Okinawa, Yamaguchi and Hiroshima prefectures from January 9 to 31.
