Live: China's first private capital-controlled high-speed railway to be put into use

The Hangzhou-Shaoxing-Taizhou Railway, 226.9 kilometers long and designed for a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour, will be put into use on Saturday. It's China's first high-speed railway controlled by private capital. The rail line is expected to halve the travel time between Hangzhou and Taizhou cities to about one hour.
