Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi elaborated on an initiative for the peaceful development in the Horn of Africa to support countries in the region, as part of the efforts to deal with challenges in security, development and governance.

Wang made the proposal while meeting the press with Kenya's Cabinet Secretary for Foreign Affairs Raychelle Omamo in Mombasa on Thursday.
