A 6.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Menyuan County in northwest China's Qinghai Province at 01:45 a.m. Saturday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC). The quake struck at a depth of 10 km and the provincial capital Xining City felt a strong tremor. A team of first responders was dispatched by local government and no casualties or collapsed buildings have been reported so far.
