Myanmar's military leader has pledged support for Myanmar to follow a five-point peace plan. Min Aung Hlaing made the statement after a meeting with Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen. He said Myanmar had extended its cease-fire with all ethnic armed organizations across the country. Cambodia currently holds the chair of ASEAN, and Hun Sen is the first head of state to visit Myanmar since the military takeover last February. However, protests and rallies were held in some parts of Myanmar as people expressed anger over Hun Sen's visit.
