Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in a telephone conversation expressed gratitude to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon for his support within the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) to normalize the situation in Kazakhstan, according to TASS News Agency.

The two leaders discussed developments in Kazakhstan. Tokayev informed Rahmon of measures being taken to stabilize the situation and restore peace, according to the report.
