Xi'an authorities apologize for delays in medical services

Chinese authorities say the COVID-19 wave in Xi'an has been the country's worst outbreak since Wuhan in 2020. A strict lockdown has been in place for over two weeks, which has come under public scrutiny due to reports of insufficient access to food supplies and medical care. Over the last few days, Xi'an officials have announced adjustments to control policies, as well as a public apology.
