02:35

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev says order has been restored in his country, but the hunt for "terrorists" continues. Speaking in an online meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), a regional security alliance, Tokayev said the violence was a coordinated coup attempt. The leader said he will soon provide evidence to back up his claims to the international community. He said the CSTO peacekeeping mission of more than 2,000 troops, who were invited to help, will soon end. Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin says the CSTO alliance won't let others destabilize member-nations.
