January 11 marks the 40th anniversary of a ground-breaking political design for China. It's been four decades since the "One Country, Two Systems" concept was put forward by then-Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping on January 11, 1982. The central government has included Hong Kong and Macao in an integrated national development blueprint.
