Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will suspend face-to-face classes in primary schools and kindergartens until the end of the Lunar New Year, Chief Executive Carrie Lam said at a news briefing on Tuesday.
Lam also said the city will start vaccinating children aged five to 11 with Sinovac.
Hong Kong reported 24 confirmed COVID-19 cases on Monday, five of which are locally transmitted, local health authorities said.
