The Chinese mainland has recorded 166 new locally transmitted cases of COVID-19. Most of the cases, 118, are in the central province of Henan. The National Health Commission said it's Henan's highest daily increase since the first cases last weekend. Two identified Omicron cases have been linked to an outbreak in the port city of Tianjin, which has reported another 33 new cases.
