The Biden administration has imposed its first sanctions over the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's (DPRK) weapons programs. The DPRK has conducted a series missile launches in the past weeks. The sanctions target six people from Pyongyang, one Russian and a Russian firm, which the U.S. believes were responsible for procuring goods for the programs.
