The French Senate approved on Thursday an amended version of a bill that would transform the country's health pass into a stricter "vaccine pass."

The upper house of the French parliament backed the legislation for a COVID-19 vaccine pass by 249 in favor of it and 63 against it. The legislation had already been approved earlier this month by France's lower house of parliament.
