Tokayev briefed his Russian counterpart on the restoration of law and order in the country with the assistance of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) peacekeeping forces, and thanked Russia for assistance and support.
The two leaders also discussed matters related to the withdrawal of 2,500 peacekeeping troops of the CSTO members from Kazakhstan which started Thursday.
