Two local transmissions and three asymptomatic cases of COVID-19 were detected in the Chinese city of Shanghai, local health authorities told a press conference on Thursday.

The cases were detected during quarantine and linked with an asymptomatic case imported from overseas on Tuesday. All of them have been transferred to designated medical center for treatment and are in stable conditions.

The residential community where the cases were found has been declared as medium-risk.
