South China's Zhuhai reports 7 infections of Omicron variant

Zhuhai, a city in south China's Guangdong province, reported seven infections of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus on Friday.
One of the infections was deemed a confirmed case of COVID-19, while the other six were asymptomatic, local authorities said.
