The International Space Station (ISS) adjusted its orbit for the first time in 2022 on Wednesday. The adjustment is reportedly to facilitate the upcoming docking and departure of two Soyuz crewed spacecrafts. Why does docking and departure from the ISS require an orbital maneuver?
