French parliament approves vaccine pass law to tackle COVID-19

The French parliament on Sunday approved the COVID-19 vaccine pass proposed by President Emmanuel Macron. The National Assembly adopted the law by a vote of 215 to 58. The law requires people to show proof of vaccination to enter public places and imposes tougher fines for fake passes.
